Created
with care and dedication by its expert team
of renowned winemaker, vineyard manager and
technical experts that followed stringent
specifications to ensure the final perfection
in taste and aroma, each varietal of Big Banyan
assures perfection in totality and complete
satisfaction.
Spearheaded
by Lucio Matricardi, the veteran
winemaker and oenologist associated
with the University of Milan,
Chateau de Banyan has spent
the last 4 years researching
all territories potential to
the cultivation of vines including
soil, climate etc at its own
and other vineyards to ensure
better quality grapes that would
hence produce exquisite wines.
In fact, it took more than 2
years for the company to even
locate the appropriate and suitable
location for its own vineyards
that met its very specific and
stringent specifications.
The
company has also associated
with wineries that met and produced
the stated specifications demanded
by the company and has been
in control of the entire growth
and harvest of the grapes at
each associate vineyard.
The
winemaker, Lucio Matricardi’s
passion for wines has had him
devote his entire life to the
study of wines that in turn
has led to the creation of some
of the finest Italian wines.
With
a PhD on Wine Biotechnology,
he is renowned, through the
past decade, for his efforts
as a winemaker across Italy
having made his mark with various
known names in the Italian wine
industry.
Developing
and enforcing a strict regime
of conditions and specifications
of the grape, its growth and
harvest; vinification, maturation
and it’s bottling, he
has striven to lead the team
into creating a distinct class
of premium wines in Big Banyan.
With
individual flavors, each varietal
of Big Banyan speaks with clarity
with Shiraz, Zinfandel, Cabernet
Sauvignon in reds and Chenin
Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc in
whites. Chateau de Banyan has
