A member of the
League of European Research universities and one of
the largest universities in Italy with over 63,000
students and over 5,000 staff on teaching and research,
the University of Milan understands the novelty of
wine growing in India and provides guidance and assistance
in understanding and developing vineyards, grapes,
the processing of the grapes etc. Thus, the exclusive
collaboration with the University of Milan supports
the fundamental philosophy of Chateau de Banyan, that
it is impossible to make good wine if we do not have
good grapes and it is essential to create ‘clean’
wine, with its own natural aroma and flavor, with
every varietal characteristic of the grape, including
its fruity and floral notes is retained completely.
And to ensure our goals are met, our vineyards as
well as the vineyards we liaise with are managed by
our own vineyard managers, in collaboration with the
University of Milan. |
